1010 Midtown had a huge year and managed to close 101 condominiums for $29,577,904 in 2012. Thus far, 1010 Midtown has closed about 309 of it’s 443 units (70% according to my calculations).
With inventory dwindling, buyers are scrambling to purchase the remaining new construction inventory around town. Once these newer condo buildings are completely sold out of the developer inventory, there really isn’t anything new on the horizon – with the exception of rental buildings. I am thinking the rental market is going to become saturated, but we’ll have to wait and see.

CB2 opened this past weekend at 1010 Midtown, so I went with a friend to check out the new store. CB2 is the first major retail shopping component to open its doors at the massive 12th & Midtown complex (located a few blocks from Piedmont Park). If you are thinking it’s more of the same items sold at Crate & Barrel, think again. CB2 is a younger, fresh and has a different attitude. I found quite a few things I’d like to buy! They has some great acrylic pieces, interesting mirrors, chic lighting and so much more. The people who works there are very friendly and go out of their way to help you.
I’m hoping 12th & Midtown will get some major players to open up shop in the building. I’d love to see Apple open a Midtown location on the corner! (You know they are going to open a store in Midtown at some point). Did you check out CB2? What did you think? Click Here for More Photos & the Rest of the Feature

1010 Midtown is reporting they have sold about 29 condos in the last 60 days. Sounds like the much needed price reductions are having a good effect on sales. Select homes have been reduced by as much as $150,000 off the list price for a two-bedroom home and $75,000 off select one-bedroom homes. You aren’t going to find price reductions like this in every unit at 1010. The building is FHA approved, so that means you can purchase a condo with as little as 3.5% down. The building has also reached its rental cap of 25%, so if you are thinking about purchasing a unit to lease out, you’ll be on a waiting list. Contact me if you are thinking about purchasing in the building and I’ll fill you in on all the details.

This luxurious 3 bedroom, 3 full and one half bath residence is located on the 33rd floor and encompasses the entire southern end of the building.
