Are YOO excited? You should be about this Midtown Tower!

Trillist is set to commence construction on Midtown’s coolest tower – Yoo on the Park. This is huge for our condo market because it is the first time a globally-renowned and totally hip lifestyle brand (named YOO) will enter Atlanta. And yes, if Yoo is involved, you had better believe we’ll be getting a touch of what Miami has had in their condo market for years.

Trillist promises “superb luxury finishes, state-of-the-art technology and the inventive, unexpected design touches that are immediately and singularly recognizable as YOO.”

Yoo on the Park will be a 25-story tower with approximately 245 units at 207 13th Street in Midtown, adjacent to Luxe. From what I gathered, there will be a mix of Studio, One- and Two bedroom & Penthouse units ranging from 552-1,908 square feet.

If you look at the rendering above, it does appear that many of the North facing Luxe units will not have much of a view. We’ll have to see how the building is placed on the site in order to be certain, but this is quite a large tower. Unfortunately in Atlanta they have not figured out how to lay out buildings so your view isn’t obstructed. In cities like Miami, the towers are angled or curved, so even if there is a building next door, you still have a view.
