Welcome to 1010 Midtown
Above: The Lobby off Peachtree Street
Monday afternoon I took a tour of the newly completed 1010 Midtown, located in Phase I of 12th & Midtown. One thing is for sure – the buildings interior spaces lived up to my expectations. Too often you see a rendering of how a room will look and it never quite matches the concept. 1010 manages to achieve being contemporary, intimate (for being such a large building), interesting and sophisticated all at the same time. The high ceilings throughout all of the public spaces are quite wonderful. Rooms are large enough to throw big parties without everyone feeling confined. (I’ll be able to test that theory tonight at the grand opening party.)
Below: The Lobby – gorgeous, contemporary light fixtures hang from a sculpted ceiling with cove lighting
Below: The Lobby – 1010 on a textured wall behind the concierge desk
Below: The Lobby – Curved walls echo the building’s shape, an orange onyx desk glows to make a beautiful statement
Below: The Club Room – this space is quite large and can easily accommodate a sizable party, a private terrace is just outside for the overflow. One of the brilliant things about the Club Room is it’s not on the same floor as the pool. You can have two separate events going on.
Below: The Club Room – this room was meant for entertaining! I love the bar.
Below: The Fitness Center – most condos don’t have equipment this nice, beyond the red wall is another area to the fitness center
Below: The Pool Deck – plenty of lounge seating and a fabulous city view.
Below: Your private park – adjacent to the pool deck, it’s a nice area to take your dog for a walk or meet some friends for a glass of wine. There is a superb view of the Midtown skyline.
Check back later this week for a tour of the ten 1010 model homes. There is something for everyone.
