Midtown’s Viewpoint 50% Sold

Above is the spectacular Midtown view from a one bedroom condo at Viewpoint. I was thoroughly impressed with the building. For an entry to mid-range priced building, Novare has packed quite a lot into its latest Atlanta project. I have listed some of the building and residence features below and took a good number of photos for you. 

Last week I went to one of the many grand opening parties the developer was throwing. There had to have been at least 500 people (if not more) enjoying grilled food, sushi and endless cocktails. It was a beautiful evening – complete with The Breakfast Club playing out by the pool. This building was made for being social.  

If you are looking for getting the most out of your dollars, this could be the place for you. You aren’t going to find crown moldings and one foot baseboards in this building. It is modern, contemporary and simplistic in its interior design. You will find the absolute latest in technology and security – features most projects don’t have. Sure others pre-wire, but most are not tied into the buildings services. That is a feature that I really love. 

The sales agent told me they are about 50% sold and have closed about 40 units so far, averaging about 5 closings per day. I think about ten people have actually moved into the building.

Amenities: 50,000 square feet of street level retail shops (none of which have been announced – although in one rendering it showed a CB2 store); State-of-the-art lobby; 24 hour concierge; fitness center with aerobic/weight lifting equipment with stunning views of Atlanta; Southern facing Wi-Fi sundeck with large pool, outdoor grills; outdoor living room with fireplace, plasma tv’s; poolside clubroom with tv’s, wireless internet, wet bar and catering kitchen, controlled access throughout building (you can only go to your parking deck floor, your condo floor and the amenities deck).

Condo Features: 10 foot ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, terraces and balconies with amazing views, large closets in some units, granite countertops, hardwood floors, a huge variety of floorplans, high speed internet, pre-wired smart home, iPod docking stations.

Technology: This is very cool. Program your preferences into the system, swipe your key card at the front door and the building will reflect your personal tastes. View your favorite art on the lobby walls, listen to your favorite music in the elevator and view your favorite tv station. All with the swipe of your key card. 

Halo (Home Automation, Lifestyle Organization): Intranet system which can be accessed from any device with an internet connection which will allow you to have access to the building and your home. You can communicate with the concierge, talk with neighbors in the online chat room, post items for sale on the resident bulletin board, see who is visiting you in the lobby, contact the management office/board of directors, program your home’s temperature to automatically adjust when you leave or come home – all while you are out.

Go Green: View your real-time interval data on energy consumption for your home, compare energy and water consumption with other homes in the building, view your personal historical water and energy readings and setting at any time.
