It was another spectacular 4th of July fireworks show in Buckhead at Lenox Square ®. Attendance looked like it was down slightly from last year, but there were still thousands of people watching the show. After a few warning sounds from the MC at the stage, the show began at 9:40 pm and continued for about a half hour. Each mini-display got larger and louder. The grand finale was truly spectacular and the sky was lit up like a Christmas tree. (Now if they could only get the Macy’s Christmas tree looking this good…)
I watched the show from my gorgeous room at the Mansion on Peachtree, which is across the street from Lenox Square ®. I’m not one for enormous crowds or having to wait to leave, so checking into the Mansion made quite a bit of sense. The hotel was offering a few Fourth of July packages, including one where you could attend a barbecue at Neo and then go up to the top of the building to watch the show below. I opted for privacy and enjoyed some cocktails on my terrace. Did you see the show? What did you think? Enjoy the rest of the photos! Click Here for More Photos & the Rest of the Feature
