The latest rendering of the new Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Residences looks more like the world-class building I had hoped it would be. It’s sleek, modern profile fits in with the surrounding skyline, but still sets the building apart from it’s neighbors. 

I’m sure there will be some additional renderings showing the street level within a few days. This tower looks somewhat like the Mandarin in Chicago, so if you are curious you can go to the website and take a look.

There has been some discussion as to whether it’s a good time to start building a project like this. It’s going to take up to three years to complete the project. By time the building is finished, it will be a completely different market and economy. Plan for the future.

The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Tivoli Properties are expected to announce plans to build a 53 story tower with a Mandarin Oriental Hotel and 71 residences. This is fantastic news for those living near the project. When a major luxury brand like the Mandarin puts down roots, home values tend to go up.

The 2 bedroom model home at Luxe in Midtown breaks away from the traditional furnishings used in most condos across Atlanta. I always love the concept that less is more, and that’s exactly what you find upon entering the space – not too much, not too little, just right. The furnishings chosen are classic and modern without being too complicated.  The color pallet is easy on the eyes and the designer makes great use of color in a sophisticated manner.

I went to Luxe yesterday to do a walk-through for a buyer and the building is impressive inside and out. I’ll be showing you some highlights from my tour this week, so keep looking for my new posts. Today, I’m going to show you the exterior of the building. There is a ton of activity outside the building as they prepare to welcome their first residents late this month.

The latest luxury condominium resale isn’t in one of the new highrises in Atlanta, it’s in a mid-rise building in a prime Midtown location. 905 Juniper is a boutique condominium building located on Juniper Street at the edge of a residential neighborhood. It’s within walking distance to everything Midtown has to offer – shopping, restaurants and nightlife.

I really love this tower and I’m looking forward to seeing it completed. The glass they are using is so beautiful and it really captures just about everything around it. The glass is nearly up to the residents level.
