These days, most developers are being kind of quiet about their projects. The Atlantic is no exception. If you have been to Atlantic Station in the past year, you probably have noticed a huge 46 story, 540 feet high building towering over the project. It’s Art Deco in it’s nature, but has some very contemporary twists inside and out.
It’s kind of hard to miss this building because it’s the tallest residential building in Midtown. Click Here for More Photos & the Rest of the Feature
The Atlantic is fairly close to being topped out. The tower’s height is well above Twelve, which is located just across the street. At the base of the building, large precast pieces are being put into place – some of which have “Atlantic” set into the stone. It’s a great look for the building.

One penthouse (unit 4605) is listed (on FMLS – First Multiple Listing Service) for $1,816,700 – which was previously listed in November 2006 (pre-construction) for $1,576,700 then increased to $1,616,700 in August 2007, finally being increased to it’s current price in April of this year. That is a total increase of $240,000.
There’s more.

Things are moving along nicely at The Atlantic. The tower is much higher than Twelve as it continues to climb skyward to 46 stories. If this tower ends up anything like Viewpoint, it should be really nice. I know what you are thinking… Viewpoint?
