Monday afternoon I took a tour of the newly completed 1010 Midtown, located in Phase I of 12th & Midtown. One thing is for sure – the buildings interior spaces lived up to my expectations. Too often you see a rendering of how a room will look and it never quite matches the concept. 1010 manages to achieve being contemporary, intimate (for being such a large building), interesting and sophisticated all at the same time. The high ceilings throughout all of the public spaces are quite wonderful. Rooms are large enough to throw big parties without everyone feeling confined. (I’ll be able to test that theory tonight at the grand opening party.)

I took this photo from a 21st floor corner “2D” unit at 1010 Midtown. You have the true sense of living in a urban setting, with the skyrise right outside your window. It’s breathtaking. To the left you can see The Atlantic which has been topped out.

Tomorrow we’ll go inside the lobby, club room, pool and fitness center.

The views from 1010 Midtown are spectacular. Look in any direction from any condo and you will be inspired. Sometimes the scenery is at a distance, or sometimes it’s up close and personal. How do you prefer to live?

This week I’ll be taking you inside 1010 Midtown for a first look at the completed project. Today I toured the amenities area and took a look at all 10 models, that’s right, 10. Each one is different in their own way and each offers something unique.

The first phase of 12th & Midtown is well underway to completion and the first closings for 1010 Midtown are scheduled to happen today. I’ll be visiting the building soon, so I’ll be sure to take pictures of the 10 model homes they have – with interiors by Artefacto (one of my favorite places to buy furniture) and also Cantoni. Later this month 1010 Midtown will have it’s grand opening party and I’m sure it’s going to be quite the scene. 

Life at 1010 Midtown is looking really great. There is a ton of activity in and around the first phase of 12th & Midtown. I took a drive around the site last week and the restaurant spaces along Crescent Street are coming along nicely. The sales center is going to move into 1010 in a couple weeks and by mid-November activity in the building will be finished. Residents will be moving in soon to enjoy really spectacular views in an amazing location.

In the rumor mill – I have heard the Kessler Collection will be adding their brand to the third phase of 12th & Midtown.

Below: The pool has been filled and the landscaping is completed. Now all we need is the furniture!

We have all seen renderings and floor plans for 1010, most of which I have studied over and over, but here is an insiders look at what’s going on inside. This was the second time I have been inside with a client and each time I am more impressed. The hallways leading to the units are really nice – textured paper covers the walls, the carpet has a timeless pattern with sections of deep chocolate brown every so often. As a resident, you aren’t going to grow tired of it after a year or two.
