With so many choices for restaurants in Atlanta, convenience plays a major part in deciding where to go eat. 10 Terminus Place residents will have a very easy life. Cousins recently announced two 2 additional restaurants which will open at Terminus 200 in 2009. For those living at 10 Terminus Place, you’ll have more room service choices than any other luxury condo building in Atlanta. Of course, if that wasn’t enough, you can always walk down the street to the soon-to-be-opened Buckhead Life restaurant, Fresh to Order, Craft and Neo (now open at the Mansion).
III Forks and Cantina Laredo join other restaurants at Terminus, including AquaKnox, BrickTops, The Flying Biscuit Café, LOLA Bellini Bar & Restaurant and MF Buckhead. Oh… also Chick-fil-A and Dressed too.

The III Forks dining experience is like no other, warm and inviting. But it wouldn’t remain a favorite dinner and meeting venue night after night if it weren’t for the food. From thick signature cuts of USDA Prime Beef to ocean-fresh fish and buttery lobster, the food at III Forks is perfectly prepared. Everything is fresh, made when you order it. While many steak houses offer fish, few provide an equal and mouth-watering balance between fish and beef like III Forks. The III Forks wine cellar houses 4,000 bottles of the finest wines available from around the world. A cellar temperature of 58 degrees is maintained while white wines are stored at 45 degrees in an additional wine cooler. The wine room is complimented by another 1000 bottles housed throughout the restaurant.

Cantina Laredo serves authentic Mexican dishes in a sophisticated atmosphere. They offer daily fish specials, grilled chicken and steaks complimented by signature sauces such as chipotle-wine with portobello mushrooms or sautéed artichoke hearts and roasted red bell peppers. Cantina Laredo offers a menu that evokes the sophisticated gourmet tastes of Mexico City by combining traditional items with modern flares.

We have all seen renderings and floor plans for 1010, most of which I have studied over and over, but here is an insiders look at what’s going on inside. This was the second time I have been inside with a client and each time I am more impressed. The hallways leading to the units are really nice – textured paper covers the walls, the carpet has a timeless pattern with sections of deep chocolate brown every so often. As a resident, you aren’t going to grow tired of it after a year or two.

Sovereign is nearing completion (right along with Terminus) and is roughly 35% sold. With prices starting at $1,000,000, that’s great news for Regent Partners. According to what I have found out, many of the larger units seem to be going first, with buyers trying to get as much square footage as they can. The two available penthouses are also getting a good amount of attention. I suspect some savvy buyer will grab the penthouse with it’s own pool in the near future.
The interior finishing work should be completed within a few weeks. Most of the floors have completed units ready for delivery (remember condos start on floor 28). The hardwood floors are installed, kitchens are ready for chefs and the terraces are ready for grand scale entertaining. In the public spaces, most of the work has been completed. The 42nd floor ”G” unit terrace pictured above (which happens to be around 478 square feet – huge for a condo) features an outdoor gas fireplace and glass panel insets along the railing for endless views.

3630 Peachtree is moving along now that the pool deck has been poured. I took some photos of the upper portion of the tower to show you the setback for the condos. Pope & Land, and everyone else involved in the project, has kept their information to themselves. I would have expected some information would have been released regarding what is happening to the condos. Ritz Carlton Residences?
The Developer, Pope & Land, has owned the property for more than 20 years and graciously allowed the Church (and other community groups) to use the property for free. Though the Church has benefited from the property as a primary parking lot for all of those years, the Church has never owned the four-acre site.
As always, the minute I hear something, I’ll let you know. There are some additional photos in this post.

The St. Regis Hotel & Residences is set to open in March 2009. The hotel and residences are well underway. Officials topped out the St. Regis Hotel and Residences on West Paces Ferry Road with speeches and a barbecue lunch.
The hotel, which will have 150 rooms and 52 condos, is the latest Buckhead luxury hotel to be offered to Atlanta residents. Other luxury hotels in the city include the Four Seasons (Midtown), The Mansion on Peachtree (Buckhead) and the Ritz Carlton (Buckhead).
The five remaining residences are priced from $3,400,000 – $4,800,000. Each residence has a corner outdoor terrace with fireplace and built-in gas grill.

I went to Luxe yesterday to take care of some things for a client and this incredible unit was brought to my attention. I thought I would share it with you. This is probably one of my favorite units in the building. It’s a 8th floor, B2 plan located on the northwest corner of the building. I know, you are thinking the eighth floor? There is something to be said for being on a lower floor. You have a connection to the ground, but still have the incredible views of the skyrise around you.

Four new Atlanta restaurants will be opening at 1010 Midtown along Crescent Avenue. I believe some will have outdoor seating (great news when fall weather comes around) and I am certain they will all be unique. This is great news for residents of 1010 Midtown and the surrounding area!
- Ri Ra Irish Pub (www.rira.com): Ri Ra is constructed of materials salvaged from famous, old pubs. Each pub is unique. Authentic furnishings and appointments are imported directly from Ireland to create a genuine Irish atmosphere where patrons experience the Real Flavour of Ireland. The name Ri Ra is derived from the phrase “Ri Ra agus Ruaile Buaile,” which translates roughly as “celebration and good fun.” Ri Ra was mentioned in my previous blog post
- RA Sushi Bar Restaurant (www.RAsushi.com): The stylishly edgy sushi bar and restaurant currently has 20 locations across the country. An unconventional dining concept, RA blends fresh sushi, hip music and contemporary décor all rolled up into one flavorful experience.
- Piola (www.piola.it): This unique pizzeria from Italy with locations in São Paolo, Buenos Aires, New York and Miami’s South Beach features authentic thin crust, wood‐fired brick oven pizza and Italian cuisine that is simple and healthy. Whether socializing after a night on the town or lounging with friends on a lazy summer day, Piola diners will experience true European ambiance in a fabulously hip and fun atmosphere. I have been to Piola in South Beach and it’s really great.
- Noon|Midtown (www.noonmidtown.com): Noon|Midtown offers sophisticated sandwiches, soups and salads, as well as pastries and breakfast items, with a focus on locally‐grown produce and sustainably raised meats. Whether rushed for time or looking for a leisurely meal, guests will enjoy exceptional food in a stylish and comfortable setting, making Noon|Midtown the perfect complement to the Midtown lifestyle.
