I took this shot while looking at The Mansion on Peachtree. I love the reflection of the building against the blue glass of Sovereign.

Last week I took you inside The Mansion’s residential lobby and some of the hotel. Today we are going up to the 42nd floor, where work has begun on the model home. What you are going to see is just the start of the model. The furniture, artwork, objects and everything else that goes into making a grand space still needs to be installed.
I learned a lot about The Mansion on my visit and why this is one of Atlanta’s greatest architectural buildings in years. The complexity of the design isn’t fully understood until you are walking around from room to room within the spaces. Everything you see at the model is merely a suggestion.

As I entered the residential lobby for The Mansion on Peachtree, the first thing that came to mind was pure elegance and style. The Resident Entrance is on Stratford Road, quietly hidden from the life of Peachtree Street. It’s hard to believe you have the best of Buckhead right outside your door. Most people driving down the street probably have no idea it’s even there. This is a definite plus for residents who are looking for privacy, but still want to be living along the grand corridor of Buckhead.

If you haven’t been to The Mansion on Peachtree, you should go for cocktails and dinner one evening and take a look around. There is a lot to be impressed by, everything from the extraordinary service to the handsome finishes throughout the property.
Yesterday, THE penthouse went on the market for $10,164,960 – a bit of a strange price tag for my taste. Why not $10,165,000 or just $10,000,000? When you are spending ten million dollars, I don’t think the buyer is thinking about the change.
