I’m not sure about recession proof, but I do know this is a really great city to live in. With so much to offer its residents (the best restaurants, shopping, condo and home choices, culture and a huge music scene) Atlanta has been quietly growing and expanding in all areas. I recently added a really great feature to my website and it’s called Walk Score™. To sum it up nicely, Walk Score™ helps people like yourself find walkable places to live. You are probably saying walking in Atlanta? Yes. It calculates the walkability of an address by locating nearby stores, restaurants, schools, parks, so you don’t have to use your vehicle! Walk Score™ measures how easy it is to live a car-lite lifestyle, and not how pretty the area is for walking.

For the example above, I used Luxe located in Midtown. Luxe scored a 91 and is a walkers’ paradise.

Normally I don’t post twice in one day, but this was just too good to keep to myself. I attended a Cousins function today at the huge penthouse I featured a week ago in my penthouse series. There was a large number of agents and interested parties in attendance and the news Cousins CEO Tom Bell gave was music to my ears.
