Well, it looks like the trend of over-building apartments will continue. Novare announced yesterday plans to build 400 unit, 32-story tower with approximately 10,000 square feet of retail at street level under the tower and garage (with Einstein’s taking a space). The development will have frontage on 14th Street, West Peachtree Street and 13th Street.
A 500+ space, 8-level parking deck will be fully enclosed with entrances proposed on 14th and West Peachtree Streets. The actual residential tower will be located at the corner of West Peachtree and 13th Street, with primary access from those streets. I do love that the garage is going to be fully enclosed.
The tower will be more like The Atlantic Condominium at Atlantic Station and will be designed to blend in with the architecture of One Atlantic Center. From what I gathered, there are deed restrictions on all four corners of West Peachtree Street at 14th Street which require any construction to have the same ground floor and materials as One Atlantic Center.
Amenities will include two pools (one on each side of the tower), a large club room. fitness center, yoga room and a tennis court on top of the parking structure.
Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart is designing the project.
