Yes, it's nice that they're not adding to inventory, but it seems to me that this is a completely different strata than most of the Midtown product. $649K for a one bedroom? I just got a rockin' 2BR resale for $285K, two blocks away at Metropolis. It's still thoroughly modern and pleasant. Yes, I'm sure the finishes and amenities are nicer at the Loews, but a good bit of that stuff ages over time. Ultimately it's a bunch of concrete, some glass, and a location.
