46 Stories in the Clouds – The Atlantic Rises in Midtown

These days, most developers are being kind of quiet about their projects. The Atlantic is no exception. If you have been to Atlantic Station in the past year, you probably have noticed a huge 46 story, 540 feet high building towering over the project. It’s Art Deco in it’s nature, but has some very contemporary twists inside and out.
It’s kind of hard to miss this building because it’s the tallest residential building in Midtown.
What’s really interesting is the building has a multitude of features geared toward many different buyer types – including people looking for contemporary living versus more traditional type arrangements. They have units with gas cooktops and some that are electric. Some units have furniture walls and some have floor to ceiling glass. Seriously, there is something for everyone.
I took a bunch of photos on my site visit a couple weeks ago. I’m going to share the views with you today, and later in the week, I’ll take you inside the building for your first look around.
Above & Below: The downtown & midtown view from the sub-penthouse level.

Below: Standing on the balcony of a traditional type unit looking toward midtown and downtown

Below: Ornamental detail on the exterior of the building. When you see this, the unit inside has a furniture wall for those of you needing more space for furniture.

Below: Under construction – the amenities deck. The pool is to the left.

Right now, showing are by appointment only. They have two furnished models to view inside the building, so you can see exactly what the finished product is going to be. Please contact me and I’ll make all the arrangements.

This building is really coming along. I think it will be a great addition to Atlantic Station.

A much needed additional to Atlantic Station. It’s going to bring the level up a bit once it opens.

They still have so much more property to develop there too. I’m curious to see what will go in next.
