If you haven’t been to The Mansion on Peachtree, you should go for cocktails and dinner one evening and take a look around. There is a lot to be impressed by, everything from the extraordinary service to the handsome finishes throughout the property.

Yesterday, THE penthouse went on the market for $10,164,960 – a bit of a strange price tag for my taste. Why not $10,165,000 or just $10,000,000? When you are spending ten million dollars, I don’t think the buyer is thinking about the change.

This stunning shot of 1010 Midtown was taken from the 50th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. You get a birds-eye view of the building, Sky Park and pool. I have a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath rental on the 9th floor overlooking the Sky Park and the Midtown skyline. The Brookwood has been quietly rising in the historical Brookwood Hills neighborhood for quite some time. The exterior of the building is nearly complete and I’m loving the modern windows set against the classic facade. I think the exterior is a really nice compliment to the neighborhood and it blends into the surroundings. If you haven’t driven through Brookwood Hills, you should. It’s a really gorgeous area and it’s conveniently located within minutes from Midtown.

I thought you might like to see the completed amenities area of Luxe. I think Margaret (the interior designer) did a beautiful job with common areas of the building. The color pallet is quite soothing and the furniture is timeless. The layout of the room above is slightly different from the rendering, but I think it works much better for the space. It’s a little more “entertainment” friendly. Luxe is a comfortable, relaxing place to call home – with the common areas being an extension of your condo. 

The sales center should be moving into the building in a couple weeks, as soon as the space is built out. In the meantime, if you want to take a look, please call me and I’ll set up an appointment for you.
