As long as there are no walls and you have cash, the sky is the limit. You are right that unit needs some serious re-working. For being so large, there is a lot of wasted space. I would have tucked the kitchen toward the back of the unit and made the living room much larger.

Good choice. Hopefully any potential owner of the penthouse at the atlantic still has time to work with the developers change the floorplan just like at 1010.

I think if I were to live in Buckhead I’d most likely live at either Sovereign or Terminus. Probably Sovereign because I think it would be super hot to have a fireplace on my terrace.

For that price, all you are getting is height. There is no outdoor space to entertain, only 2 beds, and a box design. The 22ft ceiling would be great if it was oriented along the windows, giving a drammatic impact as you enter the unit, but then the master would not get a window unless you sacrificed the bath-with-a-view. Finally, the amount of square footage without natural light is pretty pathetic at this price point. I suspect the architect has never lived in a hi-rise.

Thanks for the info. With all of the penthouses on the market for around 1.8m it would be difficult to decide which one to choose. I was looking at the FMLS and saw some interior photos of the penthouse at Gallery; the owner did a great job with the space.
