1010 Midtown Condos – A First Look Inside

We have all seen renderings and floor plans for 1010, most of which I have studied over and over, but here is an insiders look at what’s going on inside. This was the second time I have been inside with a client and each time I am more impressed. The hallways leading to the units are really nice – textured paper covers the walls, the carpet has a timeless pattern with sections of deep chocolate brown every so often. As a resident, you aren’t going to grow tired of it after a year or two.
There are more photos in this update.
We took a look at some 9th floor condos and each had impressive views and well planned space. Sometimes you enter a condo and have to wonder why the developer didn’t move a wall, or why did they put a column in the middle of the room. I can tell you first hand it’s not the case in this building. Everything has been well thought out. Someone took a good amount of time thinking how to maximize the space inside.

One of the condos I went into was so spacious, I thought it was at least 1000 square feet. In actuality it was around 800 square feet. That’s really amazing planning. When you are purchasing a condo, it’s so important to maximize each ounce of space you have to work with. This small unit had a large kitchen (big enough for two people to cook in), a good size bedroom, spacious bath, walk in closet and a separate laundry room. No, the laundry room wasn’t in the bedroom. It was in the foyer, tucked away. I didn’t even notice it when I walked in the front door. The only thing I noticed initially was the fantastic view.
Chic, timeless, contemporary, modern.

Below: Again on the same balcony. Looking down, you can see the same units have huge terraces. This adds a lot of value to your unit. These units are unique and when you are purchasing a condo, you want to buy something that will be desirable for resale. Personally, I would love to be on the 8th floor because you still have a connection to the ground, but while sitting in your living room you still see the skyrise.

Below: A very spacious kitchen for a 1 bedroom condo. This is large enough for two people to cook in. You can’t really tell, but the walnut finish on the cabinetry is gorgeous in person. It didn’t translate well in the photograph.

Below: Unit 2A on the 9th floor. Again, it was a very cloudy day. This unit has floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding the great room. The view is flawless.

Below: It’s a straight shot looking down Peachtree. This is a place you want to entertain your friends and family. Out the window to the right is the pool.

Nice, I was waiting to see actual shots of the interior of this building. I must say at first I didn’t think the views would be all that great, but I stand corrected-at night the views down peachtree will be spectacular.
