One CityPlace Still Holding as Buckhead Luxury Projects are Completed

*This project is currently on hold until 2009.

As The Mansion opens and Sovereign is getting it’s final touches, some projects have been put on hold. One of my favorite projects has yet to be started. If you have heard anything about The Related Group, you know they only deliver high-end products to the clients. Living in Miami, I have seen first hand the quality of these projects and I can safely say with confidence I’m looking forward to this project. I’m looking forward to upgraded interior condo finishes, modern, clean and contemporary lines. Just google The Related Group and take a look at their amazing portfolio.

A new icon for the Buckhead skyline, One CityPlace is the first phase of the highly anticipated vertical master plan development, CityPlace Buckhead. One CityPlace will rise to 29-stories featuring 269 condominiums and 11 townhomes with one-, two and three-bedroom floorplans. Homes will range in size from approximately 860 square feet up to 2000 square feet. As an inspired partnership between The Related Group, Cousins, Arquitectonica, and Rockwell Group; One CityPlace will capture your spirit and sophistication with flash-forward design, amenities, features, and finishes that are reinventing Atlanta. One Cityplace is just steps away from fabulous shopping and dining opportunities including the world-famous retail at Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza.

Situated on 16 acres, CityPlace Buckhead is an unprecendented, pedestrian friendly development in the heart of Buckhead. A city within a city, Cityplace Buckhead is leading the transformation of Atlanta’s most renowned district by unveiling a peerless example of what city living should be. Located at the intersection of Roxboro and East Paces Ferry Roads, Cityplace Buckhead will evolve into a community of nine condominium towers containing approximately 3,800 homes when complete.

Pricing and Approximate Square Footage:

1 Bedrooms from the $300′s / 935 – 990 square feet
2 Bedrooms from the $500′s / 1290 – 1400 square feet

Any updates on this project? I have heard rumors they have pulled the plug on the whole project…

The project has gone back to the bank. It looks like it will not be built.

I am glad to hear that the project is finally and officially done with … the LAST thing we need is a bunch of high-rise buildings cramped together in Buckhead. It’s bad enough to have the issue in Midtown – let’s learn from our mistakes.
